Books Anyone?

So, I have been in a reading slump for a few weeks 'cause I just don't know what to read. I have read all of the Stephenie Meyers "Vampire" books...LOVED them! I have also read a couple that Justin suggested by Dan Brown. Very good as well. If anyone has a good suggestion for a good read, I would greatly appreciate it! I like a good "story." You know, the type with a plot and climax and that kind of stuff. A little suspense is good, too. Maybe a little romance mixed in...I'm not talking mushy Romance Novels, just a little romance in the mix. Anyway, hope I can get some good ideas! Thanks everyone!

You would love The Wednesday Letters...it has all that and I couldn't put it down! You can find it at Deseret Book or Amazon. My ward is also reading North and South right now and it's a great easy read.

Some good books I've read lately include The Glass Castle (there is some yucky language, but overall a great book) and Snowflower and the Secret Fan. If you haven't already, Kite Runner and 1000 Splendid Suns are also awesome! I am in a book club and also an online book group. If you give me your email address, I will send you an invite to Goodreads.

I really liked A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Secret Life of Bees, and The No. 1 Ladies detective Agency.

i don't have any suggestions based on my own reading... since i have a hard time getting into a book.
but my sisters read a book called 'the glass castle' that they both loved so much. i don't think it has any romance, but they had so much to say about it and recommend it to anyone and everyone. i don't know if i will ever get around to it, so i am passing on the recommendation to you. let us all know what you decide to read and what you think of whatever you read.
take care.

Jane Eyre is my ultimate favorite book. I also enjoyed Wuthering Heights, Tess of the D'Ubervilles, and Little Women. If you want something a little different, try the Chilean author Isabelle Allende. She wrote Daughter of Fortune and Eva Luna. Oh- if you want a quick read try Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry or the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho (Matt's favorite book). I love to read (in case you couldn't tell!).
